The Royal Observatory have officially released the Astrotagging film which I finished a few weeks back. I have a feeling that the film isbeing shown at the exhibition at the Royal Observatory itself however if you can’t make it it’s here!

Two new games updated onto the Games Page. One from Reece Millidge, onde from Edmund Mcmillen. Both very different, both very good. Go now and play.

Holy crap!!!!!

I can’t upload the finished film yet however I have just finished a short film, with the help of Mike Paterson, for the Royal Observatory’s Astronomy Photographer of the Year Exhibition opening on the 8th of September.

You can actually see it here.

The film is to be projected during the exhibition and describes the rather natty new thing that they are doing which charts Amateur Astronomer’s photographers into a comprehensive map of space.

Helped amazingly along the way in making this film by Beccy McCray from Nexus Productions who managed to secure us the permission to use Blur’s ‘Far Out’ track from their ‘Parklife’ album. The song, whose lyrics were written by Alex James, was inspired by the Beagle missions to space and was a perfect track for such a film. Thanks also go to Terry Felgate and Elaine Crowther at EMI Music (and of course to Blur too).

Other thanks go to Mr Peter Collingridge from APT Studios who forwarded on Natasha Waterson’s initial brief and also Michael Greenwood and Stuart Doig for 3D help and Tim Foster for the use of his rather wonderful and brand new Canon 5D Camera.
